One area commonly used
method to accumulate wealth for your Business Succession Plan is investing in
mutual funds. Now please don’t get
turned off by the often misunderstood and over looked investment. Things and times have changed to make it a
far more attractive and a viable investment.
Let’s discuss some features that make this claim.
You can diversify your
investments by looking at three (3) types of STYLES. You can look for VALUE as
one form of style. Here you have a portfolio of different stocks that are
considered to be selling below their real true selling price. In other words, they are selling at a
bargain. An analogy I often use is like
buying a home that is undeniably worth $200,000 but you can buy it for
$175,000! Additionally these stocks tend
to pay a regular quarterly dividend.
This is a pretty neat feature because you are buying more shares without
investing any of your own monies.
You can easily search
these funds on the web. All one has to
do is Google, Value Mutual Funds. A whole
universe of funds will open for your review.
Next we will discuss GROWTH style.
Please remember that past performance is no guarantee of future
results. Lastly, please read the current
prospectus to fully understand the risks, fees, expenses and objectives of the
investment.
