The Pride Center of the Capital Region is dedicated to serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning community through advocacy, outreach, events, programs, workshops, and much more.

Making the Capital Region a More Welcoming, Safe Place to Live, Work & Play

From free queer yoga classes to counseling services to youth programs to block parties, the Pride Center of the Capital Region serves the community in myriad ways, and has since 1970. Their mission is to "promote the well-being of all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer-identified people and those affected by discrimination based on gender identity and expression."

The Pride Center of the Capital Region is the oldest continuously-operating LGBTQ community center in the country and hosts programs both at the Center and beyond.
