Tonight, Thursday March 8th, don’t miss two opportunities to see a screening of the Youth FX films produced during the 2011 summer and fall program at the Madison Theatre located at 1036 Madison Ave in Albany. Youth FX is a program of Grand Street Community Arts where teens ages 14-18 are immersed in the artistic and technical process of digital filmmaking. Gaining momentum, and accolade, the program was an “Official Selection” of the Woodstock Film Festival, Ballston Spa Film Festival, WMHT TvFilm, and PBS Project VoiceScape in 2011. Additionally, a Youth FX film, Seeds of Hope, was selected as a finalist from among 250 submissions of youth filmmakers across the country for Project VoiceScape on PBS. We were honored to have screenings presented at Art on Lark 2011 this past June and look forward to their many successes to come. The screenings are at 7 and 9pm.
