Last year the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID) highlighted the Downtown residential boom with the first annual Residential Living Showcase event. One of the premier properties featured in last year’s event was 17 Chapel.

17 Chapel is participating in round two of the BID sponsored event alongside two never before seen properties, Penta on Broadway (522-524 Broadway) and the Monroe Apartments (49 Sheridan Avenue).
Marc Paquin, President, Cass Hill Development, who is opening the doors of the Monroe, said “people want the quality of life that Downtown offers with world class restaurants, culture, and entertainment. We anticipate a great Open House and look forward to meeting our new tenants very soon.”
Albany’s newest neighborhood has had:
– 28 million invested in residential conversion projects
– 160,000 square feet of vacant space back online
– A consistent 97% occupancy rate
Make sure to head out to the Downtown Albany Residential Open House happening this Sunday, September 16 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, where a total of 8 Downtown properties will open up their doors for all to see. Registration is only $5 and can be done online at downtownresidentialopenhouse.eventbrite.com or in person at the Downtown Albany BID office at 40 North Pearl Street on the day of the event. After visiting at least 3 properties, guests are entered into a drawing to win an iPad. More details online at www.downtownalbany.org | @downtownalbany
Stay tuned next week for a recap on the event. Downtown Residential is on the Rise.
