Ever attend an Albany Symphony Orchestra (ASO) performance? Why wait! Anne Marie Judge, Development Director at ASO, was kind enough to give us four reasons to attend Albany Symphony’s upcoming Magic of Christmas performances at the Palace Theatre.
-
There’s no other time of the year that excites me the way Christmas does – no other season that conjures in me warm, cozy childhood memories. I revel in the beauty of the season, in the colors and the aroma and there is no better place to enjoy Christmas beauty than the Palace Theatre.
- Christmas is simply a magical season. It’s that time of the year when the air is filled with excitement and merriment, and families and friends have the chance to get together to share and re-live old traditions. You can create new traditions by inviting your ENTIRE family to join us this year for the 7th annual Magic of Christmas.
- The Magic of Christmas concert is bustling with hundreds of talented young performers, glorious musical favorites, and spectacular surprises. Favorite performers like The Music Studio, Capital District Youth Chorale and the Boland School of Irish Dance join us once again this year to kick off your holiday season. This is a performance that does not discriminate at any age. From the little ones to the proud grandparents, there is something for everyone and the entire evening is so captivating.
- Life has just seemed to get in the way of spending more quality time with family. We are always running around, dropping off, picking up, and find very little time to actually be together as a family. Make the Magic of Christmas your family tradition. The malls will be there on Monday and the baking can wait. This is a chance for you to create memories with your children, in the hopes that someday, they will bring their children to the Magic of Christmas!
Albany Symphony Orchestra: Magic of Christmas happens December 8, 2012 at 7:30 PM and December 9, 2012 at 3:00 PM. Soak in the beauty of the theater all decked out for the holidays, listen to area’s premier orchestra, and spend quality time with family and friends. Make the Symphony and the Palace Theatre a holiday tradition.
We’ll get you started. Be the fifth person to email me at arosa@downtownalbany.org and win two tickets to the December 8th performance.
See you Downtown.
