While you are reading this ask yourself this question. What would you do to make your vision a reality?
“To have your own space that you remade yourself, it’s hard work, but it’s a huge accomplishment. My family – Dad, uncle, and boyfriend – renovated this entire space. We were here every day till 3:00 AM, but now to walk in the doors of my own business, I feel great every morning.” – Amy DiGiandomenico, Owner of Mister Cuts
A month and a half of hard work was put into the storefront space at 63 Columbia Street, in downtown Albany, to turn a former lunch spot into the sleek design of Mister Cuts barbershop. Amy and company did a full renovation to the space completely changing the interior into something that she could call her own. Mayor Gerald D. Jennings, the City of Albany, and the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID) celebrated this accomplishment with a ribbon cutting on January 3, 2013.
Amy’s boyfriend, Jeff McDonald, was nice enough to share some before and after shots of the space.
To all that put hard work into creating a business, we salute you.
