Have you ever treated an inanimate object like it was a living thing? Sometimes I find myself giving something tangible human feelings. As a staff, the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District feels that way about our Sculpture in the Streets<\/a> clog sculptures.<\/p>\n The clogs have made thousands of friends in Downtown and have been popular entities in the social circuit. In the spring time they will trot up to Washington Park for the 65th<\/sup> annual Tulip Festival. But since they don’t have fur and don’t wear jackets they have headed inside for the winter to keep warm. You can currently spot our clog friends inside at the following locations:<\/p>\n What’s in a Name? <\/i><\/b>The Albany County Convention & Visitors Bureau | 25 Quackenbush Square This week gave us the first real gust of winter with the lowest temperatures of the season. How could we leave our poor little clogs out in the snow? It wouldn’t be fair! Here is a picture of the Clog of Albany at the Chef’s Table presentation (held January 22, 2013) at Capital Repertory Theatre<\/a> for their showing of Race (highly recommend you see it).<\/p>\n Keep warm out there.
