entry level employee who aren’t having any luck finding the right opportunity can still stay busy and add valuable experience to a resume. Take advantage of the holiday season! In addition to extra sales roles and delivery truck positions in the area, there are also many opportunities to volunteer. The local newspapers and websites such as volunteermatch.org will get you going in the right direction.<\/div>\n

It may be too late to sign up for fall courses to better your educational background, but you can certainly start thinking about Winter semester offerings! If you’re planning to take more courses and haven’t yet enrolled, now’s the time to think ahead for 2013.<\/div>\n

Does your staff gel together, produce great work, seem motivated and goal-driven? You’ll want to make sure this is the case. Note complacency<\/a> among employees, boost communication via productive staff meetings, and reward those who are contributing to your company’s ongoing success with perks – even something as simple as an unexpected venti latte is a great way to show someone you appreciate their work (but extra flexibility or an office luncheon is a great reward, too!)<\/div>\n

Now’s the time to start planning ahead for the new year, which means college students looking to complete internship requirements prior to graduation. Take advantage of all the great things an intern has to offer<\/a> and work one into your business plan for the winter and spring months. Who knows?
