The Jury in the Jerry Sandusky trial didn’t even use up their room service vouchers before returning a verdict. As anticipated, they found him guilty of most of the charges against him. The former football coach is going to need the entire playbook now. Enjoy prison Jerry. ……….Our law makers have gone home for the season, after what can probably be described as a fairly productive session. Wait till next year boys and girls. By the time you get back — assuming you are coming back — the state DEC should be ready with it’s new regulations concerning the issue of hydrofracking. Much has been said about the issue in print , and with the turnout of people at demonstrations (Occupy Albany protestors don’t count), the people of the state of New York care about the issue. Everyone knows the stance the governor has taken on the issue — though he won’t say it publicly — that he is in favor of drilling. This is going to be one tough fight Andrew. We are going to see what you are made of on this one. Though I am in favor of the issue, there are so many questions that need to be answered. In my mind everything that happens above the ground can be addressed and dealt with. It’s below ground that you have to worry about. I have some experience with drilling and how it could affect groundwater, and it is a fact that if there is ever a major breach going through the aquifer, it could be a major problem. I you think that they let the driller set up and have at it, I’m here to tell you that’s not the case. If the governor’s pilot program is allowed, the DEC better be ready with plenty of trained inspectors. ……….Driving down Western Avenue the other day, I saw that Junior Commisso has his campaign sign up. I think I saw Jerry Jennings with a shovel digging post holes. Didn’t you just have knee surgery Jerry. Hey Junior, did you get a permit for that sign. Nice job on the website too.
