About this event

Join us for the kickoff of a brand-new series at The Mopco Improv Theatre: Curated Personal Story Evenings. Every other month, on the third Friday, we’ll present a lineup of real-life stories told by real people—poignant, funny, or heartwarming tales that showcase life’s pivotal moments.

The theme for this debut event is “A Fork in the Road”—true stories of critical choices and life-changing moments. Each storyteller will share an authentic, 7-9 minute tale of how they faced a defining crossroads and what happened next.

Submissions a still open! All submissions should be emailed to STORY@MOPCO.ORG with the subject line 'Story Submission' by Dec 22nd at noon. Storytellers who are cast (or perhaps chosen to move on to a phone telling of their story) will be informed within two days of their submission.

The final roster of storytellers will be made public on January 3rd.

All storytellers cast will receive a $30 Mopco gift card and a free drink of their choice as an honorarium.

For more information on submissions please visit mopco.org.
