An evening of comedy, music and theater by some of the area’s best female performing artists. For anyone who thinks women have been a little quiet lately, A Night of Women will change all that!
Jenny Ansong is an actor, singer and dancer from upstate New York whose credits include Ragtime at Sand Lake Center for the Arts and POV at Creative Action.
Leslie Barkman is a vocalist, pianist, and songwriter who plays bluesy jazz and jazzy blues covers and originals as soloist under the name of Leslie Barkman, as vocalist with the Hammerhead Horns and as the leader of her band Lou’s Blues.
Denise Ligouri Foster Is a regional trumpeter and music educator who performs with various ensembles upstate. She will be joined by friends Amy Baker on horn, Gina Mancini on trombone, and Sarah Baker on tuba.
Terri Roben is a native Capital District singer-songwriter, playing for all ages with various stringed instruments, as well as a vocalist for the trio, RK Jazz & Blues.
Dee Watson is a comedian who has performed throughout the Northeast, including the Funny Bone Comedy Clubs and The Comedy Works.
Their outstanding talents blend the artistry of women’s voices behind the mic. Get ready to be swept away!
