About this event

Whether you are new to CCL or a seasoned volunteer, join our community of dynamic, committed activists. Anyone who wants to create the political will for a livable world is welcome to join us!

On Saturday April 5th we'll gather in a 4 track conference, which includes lots of long breaks between sessions to connect and make new friends, follow up with speakers, and learn more from climate action tables throughout the space. The tracks will include exciting topics like:

  • An in depth Climate Advocate Training, that includes a mock lobby session to learn CCL's tried and tested method for lobbying your elected officials
  • A representative from Federal Energy Regulatory Commission explaining how electricity markets work
  • Folks from Greenlight America, in how to effectively build support for local clean energy projects such as Batteries and Solar
  • The Tempestry project, that makes fiber arts out of the Climate Warming stripes to really internalize climate impacts
  • A deep dive into progress and challenges of decarbonizing Vassar College
  • And... many more! (see full conference program for more)

In addition, a Friday evening Social will happen on site to connect and share with other volunteers around the region.

Action is the antidote to despair, and our conference will give you the tools to start your action journey immediately. We hope to see you there!

Registration is open now! Attendance is limited, so act now to reserve your spot!
