National Learn to Row day
Organized by USRowing to bring attention to the sport of rowing, Albany Rowing Center offers community members the opportunity to experience rowing on the Hudson River for free, ages 12 and up.

About this event
Volunteers will be on hand to walk you through the different stations. The whole process will take about 45 minutes depending on how many people arrive at a given time. Stations:
Intro: Sign in, fill out a waiver, learn about rowing
Tour: Get a tour of the boathouse and boatyard
Learn: Learn about the differnt boats and rowing terminology
Practice: Practice the rowing stroke on a stationary rowing machine
Row: Get in a boat and row on the river
