About this event

The Blessed Virgin Mary Parish invites you to experience the rich flavors and comforting traditions of Polish Food. Held on Saturday, December 14, from 2 to 6 p.m. at 250 Old Maxwell Road in Latham, NY, this take-out-only event offers an unforgettable meal for you and your loved ones to enjoy in the comfort of home.

Delicious and ready-to-eat meals, including everyone’s favorite Polish Platter will be available for purchase. The Polish Platter contains a delicately filled Gołąbki, an artfully crafted Potato Cheese Pierogi with golden sauteed onions, and a sizzling link of smoked Kielbasa covered with homemade Kapusta. The Polish Platter also comes in a vegetarian version. The Haluski Bowl is ready-to-eat and includes homemade haluski with a generous portion of grilled smoked kielbasa.

The menu showcases many timeless Polish favorites, including perfectly seasoned Kielbasa, bigos (Hunter’s Stew), borscht (Beet Soup) and the new award-winning Kielbasa Wrap Sandwich. Indulge in delicious desserts like crispy Chruściki, buttery Kolachki, and the beautifully decorated Chocolate Vodka cake. Each dish is lovingly prepared to preserve its authentic flavors and freshness, making it effortless to bring a touch of Polish tradition to your home. Conveniently packaged frozen favorites, like premium kielbasa and 12 varieties of pierogi flavors, can also be taken home for the holidays. As part of this special food event, BVMC will also be collecting donations of hats and mittens to benefit local nonprofits serving those in need. Handmade bracelets crafted by the parish’s Sunday School students will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting their chosen Adopt-a-Family. And from 3-5 p.m., SANTA will be in the building!
