Stupendous Stoop Stroll and Summer Market

Center Square and Hudson/Park Neighborhood Associations have joined together for over 40 years to present one of the most enduring events of the summer – tours that give a unique glimpse into our city’s historic urban neighborhoods and gardens. The summer tour is a highly anticipated annual event for history, garden and architecture lovers alike.

What was once a tour of private homes and gardens, because of the pandemic, in 2021 turned into a new event: The Stupendous Stoop Stroll. This day-long event will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024.

This year’s event will include:

• A Stoop Stroll - residents will decorate their stoops and strollers will be able to view upwards of 100 uniquely decorated stoops featuring not only flowers, but displaying many different creative themes which grow out of the residents’ imagination. No two stoops are alike.
• A Summer Market of vendors and crafts persons will be in our neighborhood park (Hudson-Jay Park) throughout the day, rounding out the celebration.
