2011 was an amazing year. Some thoughts for 2012:
1. Believe in abundance. There’s plenty to go around for everyone if we collaborate and pay it forward. In 2011, I referred more clients to my colleagues than any other year for one reason or another, and my business was up 51 percent from 2010
2. Be different. I spent many years of my life trying to fit in and I was miserable. In 2011 I committed to being myself and telling it like it is and saw that I was more accepted by others then when I “tried to fit in” or conform to the norm. Say things you mean to say and apologize if you have to. But be yourself! The true you.
3. Instead of proving people wrong, prove people right! When I was 8 i was watching The Greatest American Hero and a friend of my dads told me “Robbie, you are going to be the Greatest American Hero”. That’s certainly a lofty goal to live up to but it has driven me to give freely and be better with every day.
Don’t live to prove the critics wrong. Live to prove yourself and the people that believe in you right!
Be The Greatest American Hero to those you work with, know and love!
