One of my favorite things to do in May between the semesters is to take a “workation” – part work, part vacation. I get more done on my workations than during most workweeks, because I am away from the day to day operation and have more time to reflect.
I am able to have a longer time away by building in work days while I am on the road. As you can see below, having two dedicated workdays while away gives me the ability to stay in the city I am visiting for a bit longer.
Here is the agenda for my upcoming workation:
Next Thursday 5/15 I begin my road trip to Nashville. Here are some of the events on my agenda – hope to see some of you on my journey.
Thursday 5/15 – Baltimore area
Friday 5/16 – somewhere in North Carolina/SW Virginia
Saturday 5/17- driving to Nashville in the AM
Sunday 5/18 – Nashville visiting friends
Monday 5/19 – working in Nashville
Tuesday 5/20-Thursday 3/22 attending Inc Magazine GROWCO Conference
Friday 5/23 – working in Nashville
Saturday night 3/24 – driving to Cincinnati (Reds game)
Sunday 3/25 – Pittsburgh in the morning (Pirates game)/Rochester/Syracuse in the afternoon
Monday – back home to Saratoga.
