Why would a company want to offer a nice benefit package? I would think to keep their employees content with their employer. Companies offer employees benefits to keep them returning to the job. Not only to keep them but to let employees know the company cares. The company cares about them as an employee, about their family, and about their wants and/or needs. What should the employer include? What benefits can an employer offer to their employees? I myself would expect a good health insurance plan with a low price tag. Some employers offer 100% coverage at no charge to the employee, some offer a discounted weekly/monthly charge to the employee, and some do not offer coverage or full payment from the employee. Another offer I would like is a vision, dental, and life insurance plan. Other benefits an employer can offer is paid time off, vacation, medical leave, personal time off, performance raises, and bonuses, etc. Employers do not have to offer any benefits but in the long run it helps with keeping happy employees who like going to work.
