When I say “I Heart NY Y’all” I mean it! As a Southern transplant to Yankee territory,
there’s plenty that I know I haven’t seen or done yet. When I read about the 2010
Pride of New York Harvest Fest, I knew it was an education waiting to happen!
Next weekend (11/13-11/14) at the Empire State Plaza in Albany, the Harvest Fest will showcase NY’s finest food,
wine and beer from state growers and producers with 90 vendors. Look for everything from cheeses, sausages,
jams, sauces, fruits and veggies and organically grown meats. Who knew NY was full of great stuff like
that??
Admission gets you complimentary sampling of some of the
best beer, wine and food found right here in the Empire State, plus a chance to
check out interactive cooking demonstrations with top-rated NY chefs or a seat
at a workshop presented by the New York Wine & Grape Foundation and the New
York State Brewers Association.
Tickets
are $20 advance sale through ticketmaster or $25 at the door but you can win
