The good news: someone in the Capital Region is walking around with some big bucks!
The bad news: it’s not us.
The funny thing is that our friends and family back home in the South seem to think we are the only folks living in Albany…and that naturally, we won.
Wishful thinking! Whoever the lucky dog is will walk away with the 5th largest payout in Mega Millions history and the largest score for a single ticket winner!
While we don’t know the winner yet, we do know that the lucky ticket was purchased in downtown Albany, just blocks from the Capital Building.
Sadly, we know we have a better chance of being struck by lightening before winning the jackpot…but we sure are having fun dreaming of ways to spend all those dolla dolla bills y’all!
