Back home in the South, the temperatures are already high. My mom called the other day to complain about the 90+ degrees on the thermometer. With the cold front that came through last week, I sort of forgot that it’s almost summer.
May 1 marked our two-year-anniversary in New York. We’ve seen and done a ton of stuff, but one of our favorite events is the Tulip Festival in Washington Park. The festival was the first outing we made as New Yorkers in 2010.
Even going into our third year of flowers, it just amazes me to stroll through Washington Park and see the bright blooms everywhere! The colors and shapes of the flowers are always so stunning.
This year’s early warm weather may have damaged a few of the blooms, but I sure wasn’t disappointed!
…especially when I found this blooming! 🙂
