Beginning with Batman

My husband is a huge fan of super hero movies (I think it’s a guy thing?) and I have been drug to every movie featuring some comic book hero for as long as we’ve been together. I remember when we got engaged, I had to bribe him with tickets to see Iron Man just to get him to help me create our wedding registry. Most of the films I don’t mind, but I have to admit, I’d like to see a romantic comedy every now and then.

So I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that baby Colt will most likely follow in his dad’s footprints…he was all dressed up to go see the Dark Knight Rises at the Malta Drive-In last week!

I’ve figured out that if I’m not on board with the super hero love fest, I’m probably going to get left behind. And if you can’t beat ’em, you might as well join ’em.

My new favorite hobby has become attempting to make fancy-pants sugar cookies. I’m learning how to use icing bags & frosting tips…for me it’s “cooking”! I figured if I could combine one of my new favorites with something Brett loved, we’d all win!

Lucky for me, Batman is pretty easy…I’m slowly working my way up to Spiderman! 🙂
