<\/p>\nOn a recent visit to Watervliet the other day, I stumbled back across one of the best little secrets up here. Tucked away in a small little shack is Gus’s hot dogs where you’ll find some the highest reviewed dogs in the Capital District!<\/p>\n

In business since 1954, this Greek owned hot dog stand is one that folks don’t mind standing in line for. At only $.65 a dog, visitors to Gus’s are snagging a bargain with these chili, onion and mustard covered mini-hot dogs! I had to wait for about 20 minutes, but it was worth it!<\/p>\n

The great thing about Gus’s is that the stand sells ‘hot dog kits’ and can ship anywhere in the US. A D-I-Y kits include the dogs, buns, meat sauce and all the trimmings packed fresh for each order. And while for most true Gus’s fans, money is no object: the little smackers run $105 for 25-packs and only $122 for 50-packs.<\/p>\n
