Albany Rail Trail

From Slingerlands to South Pearl Street bikers, walkers, and joggers can enjoy a fabulous 5 mile bike trail. In Slingerlands, directly behind the Slingerlands Fire Department off Kenwood Avenue you will find a semi-circle road where the trail begins. The trail terminates at South Pearl Street near Roberts Towing and Recovery. The trail is open to the public after the conversion of an old railway into a paved path. Paving of an additional 5-mile stretch from Slingerlands to Voorheesville is under planning.

Pets are permitted on the Albany Rail Trail but must be leashed. Get outside and enjoy this wonderful trail throughout our Capital District!
