This blog
\nis named “Midwifery, Mothering & Me” because the words all start
\nwith M which is my favorite letter, because each of the topics are within my
\nareas of expertise, and most importantly,
\nbecause, hopefully, these subjects are appealing to you.<\/p>\n
Entering
\nmy second decade as both a CNM and a NYS LM, my third decade as a mother and my
\nsixth decade breathing Earth’s oxygen rich atmosphere, I am certainly
\nexperienced (if not entrenched) in this blog’s chosen topics.<\/p>\n
Expertise
\nand experience are enough to be able to blog on a subject; I certainly have
\nthose credentials. Hopefully, I also possess a point of view that will give you
\nsomething to think about, an ability to communicate my passion enough to draw
\nyou in, and a hint of humor to keep you coming back.<\/p>\n

\nbirth is important.<\/li>\n
\nhow<\/u><\/i> we are born is important.<\/li>\n
\nhealth care is Important and quality maternal, newborn and women’s health care
\nis vitally important.<\/li>\n
\nmidwifery is about being with woman<\/u><\/i>;
\nat its finest, midwifery is a profession of mindfulness.<\/li>\n
\nI LOVE being a midwife.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n
\n
\ngentle, steadfast, loving care of children is crucial to raise responsive and
\nresponsible adults.<\/li>\n
\nthe term Mothering embodies such care (no matter the gender of the caregiver).<\/li>\n
\nchildren are our future, literally and metaphorically.<\/li>\n
\nMothering Magazine is gone and it helped me so much as a new mother.<\/li>\n
\nso much of mothering, especially the early years. Is lonely, monotonous work<\/li>\n
\nI LOVE being a mother.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
\n
\nwe all<\/u> have a Self, a Me.<\/li>\n
\ncaring for Self is important.<\/li>\n
\nall of us need to stop, breathe, breathe a little deeper, and take the moment to
\nexperience our essence, our Self.<\/li>\n
\nmidwifery and mothering are what I do<\/u>, not who I am<\/u>.<\/li>\n
\nas corny as it sounds, I LOVE being me.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n
