Having seen trailers in both 2D and 3D, be informed: in 2D, it looks a bit cartoony. 3D comports the sense of massive scale appropriate to these creatures that are 10 stories tall. No doubt thanks to del Toro&#8217;s skilled helming, <em>Rim <\/em>is currently rating about 71% on RottenTomatoes &#8211; very good for a monster mash, and fairly obscure brand.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fandango.com\/search?tab=Movies+Video&amp;q=Pacific+Rim&amp;repos=Movies&amp;wss=link3OOx25Ot&amp;wssaffid=11833_mannix-Albany.com\"><strong>Showtimes and Tickets:<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" height=\"295\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/A85EtOalcsM?feature=player_embedded\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"460\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>Grown Ups 2<\/em> is our other new contender. Why on earth? I have no idea. <em>Grown Ups <\/em>had tallied 9% positive reviews on RottenTomaotes. <em>Grown Ups 2<\/em>? None. Zee-Roh. Even so, die hard Sandler fans and familiar stomping grounds may help this straight forward family-ish comedy beat out that also family friendly<em> Pacific Rim<\/em>.
