This Albany neighborhood is located at the elevated northeast portion of the city. Its northern end reaches to the railroad tracks and Orange Street to the south. From east to west, Arbor Hill spans from Broadway to Henry Johnson Boulevard.
General Abraham Ten Broeck built the Ten Broeck Mansion, also referred to as "Arbor Hill" on the hill. It is now home to the Albany County Historical Association.

Arbor Hill is primarily a residential Albany neighborhood. New construction housing will be popping up throughout - mostly on First and Second Streets. This new development is part of the last phase of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development grant given to the Albany Housing Authority back in 1998.
