I’m just in one of those moods and this snow isn’t helping. So, instead I’ve decided to think about warmer, happier times and in Albany one of the best examples of that is Tulip Fest. I know the last couple of years, it’s rained but still, nothing beats spring time in Upstate NY.
People milling around, in no rush to get out of the cold. Cool booths with soap and other random textiles, and the smell of fried food in Washington Park! Doesn’t get much better.
These are from 2008, and the musical acts of note were Spin Doctors and the Rustic Overtones, so it comes as little shock that the place was packed. I’m looking forward to this year. I hope we get sunny skies.
