Peaches Café to Reopen at Stuyvesant Plaza With a Fresh New Look

A longtime local favorite is back and better than ever. Peaches Café will officially celebrate its grand reopening at Stuyvesant Plaza on Monday, April 21 at 8 a.m. following an extensive renovation.
The beloved café, which first opened in 1982, has been a go-to spot for comfort food, decadent desserts, and all-day brunch for more than four decades. Now, with a refreshed interior and exterior, Peaches is ready to welcome guests with the same cozy atmosphere and classic menu items—plus a few new additions.
“We’re excited to join Peaches Café for the highly anticipated reveal of its interior and exterior refresh,” said Rachel Ferluge, General Manager of Stuyvesant Plaza. “While its appearance has been beautifully updated, it still embodies the same warmth and familiarity our guests have always loved.”
Located next to Chipotle and the soon-to-open Anthropologie, Peaches Café will continue to offer indoor and outdoor dining, serving up breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner seven days a week.
The reopening comes as Stuyvesant Plaza continues to grow, welcoming new tenants like vineyard vines, Athleta, Simone’s Kitchen, and Union Hall Supply Co.—adding to the vibrant mix of local and national brands that make the Plaza a shopping and dining destination in the Capital Region.

Guptill's Skating Arena Celebrates 75 Years & Historic Recognition

Guptill's Rolling Skating Arena in Cohoes has long been known as the world's largest indoor skating rink, but now they have another accolade to boast about:
The 4th-generation, family-owned business has now been in operation for 75 years *and* they're on the New York Historic Business Preservation Registry.

To make this registry, a business has to have been in operation for at least 50 years, and have contributed to the community's history in a meaningful way.
Nominations to the registry must be sponsored by an elected state official. State Senator Jake Ashby facilitated this honor.

Known for the incredible rolling skating rink, legendary ice cream stand, and 50s and 60s nostalgia, Guptill's has been welcoming generations of local families for decades.
They've certainly earned their mark as a historic, thriving business with a hugely positive impact on the Capital Region, and we look forward to the ice cream stand opening this spring!
